If you are able to login in your email but you can not login using your yahoo messenger,
then you should try to login using
http://chat.yahoo.com.
This is a web version of chat and you can select Chat 2.0 or Java from the list box at top
right corner and enter a chat room. If you can login using this method, then you will be
able to see your buddy list and at least you can recover your buddy list.

You can also try to login on
http://jpager.yahoo.com/jpager/messenger.html which is a web
version of yahoo messenger and sometime it lets you login and see your buddy list.

If the above fails then you should try to go to this URL and see if you can get your
buddy list

If all the above listed steps fail and you are unable to retrieve the buddy list from yahoo
